A welcoming atmosphere and excellent service are what you can expect during your stay at A Stone's Throw Away.

I will be honest. Its a great place to be. The lady at the reception desk is extremely good at her job. Very professional and friendly. The 1 hiccup I encountered she dealt with swiftly and apologized for the inconvenience. Sometimes as a guest thats all we want.

I am taking the time to write a review as this was such a poor experience. + John at front desk was nice. - There is usually no staff at front desk. The taxi driver told me that a couple had arrived one afternoon during my stay and couldn't get into the hotel despite knocking and calling for over an hour. They ended up having to check into another hotel. - No wifi in room and wifi in lobby only sometimes worked. - Phone in room did not work. So if you wanted to get a staff member - you had to call John directly on his mobile yourself (and pay international phone rates). - Housekeeper does not work every day so there is not "daily housekeeping" as advertised. - The shower was a trickle of water. One day there was no hot water (which was fixed later that day). - Breakfast was poor (I ate there one day and not again during my stay even though it was included) - "Bottled water" was complimentary but every day I had to phone to obtain it. - The loud rattling of the fridge in the room - I could hear every movement of the guest in the room above me (luckily for me the room was not occupied my whole stay) - The swimming pool looked more like a swamp. Unsurprisingly I didn't see a single guest make use of this area.

Great location, close to the airport. Small but clean rooms. Beautiful property but could use some updating. Overall a good place to stay for a night in Nassau.

This hotel is in Tropical Gardens. One corner from the airport. Only couples stay here. It is very expensive.
