Stayed in November 2022.My Father & myself stayed in a room with an amazing view. Staff were wonderful and a special mention to Maria who was helpful, funny and made our stay special. We were booked in at the Ilfracombe hotel, but due to the government wanting it to accommodate immigrants, the paying customers were relegated to this hotel. But due to local people of Ilfracombe protesting against an influx of migrants to the beautiful seaside town, the hotel is now closed!!! A equipe foi maravilhosa e uma menção especial a Maria, que foi prestativa, divertida e tornou a nossa estadia especial. Estávamos reservados no hotel Ilfracombe, mas devido ao governo querer acomodar imigrantes, os clientes pagantes foram relegados a este hotel. Mas devido ao protesto da população local de Ilfracombe contra o fluxo de migrantes para a bela cidade litorânea, o hotel está fechado!
Stayed here earlier in the year. The place is dated but clean and tidy. The staff were friendly enough and welcoming to our dog. Breakfast had to be eaten in the bar area since we had our dog however this is often expected and wasn't a hindrance at all. Help yourself buffet to fill up for the day and on tap coffee during breakfast. Maybe not the place to woo your loved one for Valentine's but plenty adequate for a few days away. Great location if you're looking for some seaside walks.Maybe have a backup plan for parking in one of the nearby public car parks, we managed to check in and get ourselves one but parking is very limited. Fiquei aqui no início do ano. O local é antigo, mas limpo e arrumado. A equipe foi amigável o suficiente e acolhedora para o nosso cão. O café da manhã tinha que ser tomado na área do bar, já que tínhamos nosso cachorro, no entanto, isso geralmente é esperado e não foi um obstáculo. Sirva-se do bufê para o dia e café da torneira durante o café da manhã. Talvez não seja o lugar para cortejar seu ente querido no dia dos namorados, mas bastante adequado para alguns dias de distância. El personal fue maravilloso y una mención especial a María, que fue servicial, divertida e hizo que nuestra estancia fuera especial. Reservamos en el hotel Ilfracombe, pero debido a que el gobierno quería que alojara a inmigrantes, los clientes que pagaban fueron relegados a este hotel. Pero debido a que la gente local de Ilfracombe protesta contra la afluencia de inmigrantes a la hermosa ciudad costera, ¡el hotel ahora está cerrado!

Me alojé aquí a principios de año. El lugar está anticuado pero limpio y ordenado. El personal fue lo suficientemente amable y acogedor con nuestro perro. We had a lovely, clean and comfortable room with stunning views over the Bristol Channel. The hotel is only a short walk from the cliff railway to Lynmouth. The food was lovely. A great breakfast and lots of choice in the evening. Super fast service and a well stocked bar. The hotel is charming and gracious. We loved it. Thanks to all the staff. Que pausa adorável meu amigo e eu acabamos de ter neste hotel! A partir do minuto em que chegamos, a equipe não poderia ter sido mais agradável e prestativa. Tivemos um quarto adorável, limpo e confortável, com vistas deslumbrantes sobre o Canal de Bristol. O hotel fica a apenas uma curta caminhada da ferrovia do penhasco para Lynmouth. A comida era adorável. Um ótimo café da manhã e muitas opções à noite. Atendimento super rápido e bar bem abastecido. O hotel é charmoso e gracioso. Nós amamos isto. Obrigado a todos os funcionários.

I attended here for a long weeekend with a coach group. Although the food was plentifullit was just warm enough to eat but not really enjoy. Dinner service felt rushed. The room i was in was pokey drab and awfull with no space for anything and a threadbare carpet. Its a shame because the cliff top location is perfect but the hotel grounds were overgrown with weeds and no outdoor seating to enjoy the lovely view. Sadly another coastal hotel where the google pictures do it way too much justice. Eu participei aqui por um longo fim de semana com um grupo de treinadores. Embora a comida era abundante, era apenas quente o suficiente para comer, mas não realmente desfrutar. O serviço de jantar parecia apressado. O quarto em que eu estava era pokey monótono e horrível sem espaço para nada e um tapete surrado. É uma pena porque a localização no topo do penhasco é perfeita, mas os jardins do hotel estavam cobertos de ervas daninhas e não havia mesas ao ar livre para apreciar a vista encantadora. Infelizmente, outro hotel costeiro onde as imagens do google fazem justiça demais.

Aunque la comida era abundante, estaba lo suficientemente caliente para comer, pero no para disfrutarla. El servicio de cena se sintió apresurado. La habitación en la que estaba era monótona y horrible, sin espacio para nada y con una alfombra raída. Es una pena porque la ubicación en la cima del acantilado es perfecta, pero los terrenos del hotel estaban cubiertos de maleza y no había asientos al aire libre para disfrutar de la hermosa vista. Lamentablemente, otro hotel costero donde las imágenes de Google le hacen demasiada justicia.

Mais básico do que um quarto Travelodge, mas cobrando o dobro do preço. Alguns funcionários foram adoráveis, mas o gerente geral foi rude conosco. Nossa cama estava quebrada levando a uma noite de sono ruim, sem desculpas. Eles entraram em nosso quarto para consertá-lo quando pedimos que não até que estivéssemos de volta, pois não gosto de funcionários no meu quarto durante uma estadia. O banheiro e o quarto pareciam um asilo de idosos. Infelizmente não voltaria lá.

Honestly, I loved it. I'll admit, it needs a bit of TLC but what old hotels don't? I enjoyed the character and charm the place has! The location is perfect, I was lucky to have a sea view room and it was spectacular! Every morning I'd stare out the window when I got up. The staff were the best I'd ever met at a hotel. Always, happy, smiling and willing for a chat any time of the day or night. The service they provided was second to none, and this (in my opinion) is worth its weight in gold. Would happily come backOh, and their dog friendly Sinceramente, eu adorei. Admito, precisa de um pouco de TLC, mas quais hotéis antigos não precisam? Gostei do caráter e charme que o lugar tem! A localização é perfeita, tive a sorte de ter um quarto com vista para o mar e foi espetacular! Todas as manhãs eu olhava pela janela quando me levantava. A equipe foi a melhor que eu já conheci em um hotel. Sempre, feliz, sorridente e disposto a bater um papo a qualquer hora do dia ou da noite. O serviço que eles prestaram foi inigualável, e isso (na minha opinião) vale seu peso em ouro. Voltaria com prazerAh, e seu cão amigável

Peas, carrots and Sweetcorn mix are not everyone's cup of tea. Broccoli and red cabbage would be a treat. Puddings are delicious though, starters are good too hospedado aqui para 4 noites. Tivemos o melhor quarto do hotel. Peça o quarto 63 se vier de forma independente. Fantástica vista mar. Comida medíocre gostaria que eles fossem um pouco mais aventureiros com produtos hortí-. Ervilhas, cenouras e mix de milho doce não são a xícara de chá de todos. Brócolis e repolho roxo seria um deleite. Os pudins são deliciosos, as entradas também são boas

Tuvimos la mejor habitación en el hotel. Pregunta por la habitación 63 si vienes de forma independiente. Fantástica vista al mar. Sin embargo, la comida mediocre desearía que fueran un poco más aventureros con las verduras. La mezcla de guisantes, zanahorias y maíz dulce no es del agrado de todos. El brócoli y el repollo rojo serían una delicia. Sin embargo, los postres son deliciosos, los entrantes también son buenos.

The staff here and the nostalgia make this place feel special. The views really do keep with the theme that it's the southwest Switz Alps. The building is old but it's part of the charm and although the corridors and parts could do with an uplift the hotel felt clean and safe. Breakfast was good, food hot and there was plenty to help yourself to. We had an issue after the first night which the hotel staff not only provided us with an alternative room but also gave us a complimentary drink for our issue which was gratefully received. It's not often these days you get service that goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is better than it was. Would recommend the walk down to Lynmouth from the gardens, beautiful. Would happily stay again. Lovely location and staff make the hotel. A equipe aqui e a nostalgia fazem este lugar parecer especial. As vistas realmente mantêm o tema de que são os Alpes Switz do sudoeste. O prédio é antigo, mas faz parte do charme e, embora os corredores e as partes possam melhorar, o hotel parecia limpo e seguro. Café-da-manhã era bom, comida quente e havia muito para se servir. Tivemos um problema após a primeira noite em que a equipe do hotel não apenas nos forneceu um quarto alternativo, mas também nos deu uma bebida de cortesia pelo nosso problema, que foi recebida com gratidão. Hoje em dia, não é sempre que você recebe um serviço que vai além para garantir que sua estadia seja melhor do que era. Gostaria de recomendar a caminhada até Lynmouth dos jardins, lindo.
