The resorts grounds were clean but majority of staff were not friendly nor did I feel that they did not want to give me time of day. There were a couple of exceptional staff members though. Food selections and quantities were very limited unlike previous resorts I've stayed at. On resort entertainment was very mediocre. Rooms were not maintained and along with myself there were numerous complaints from other guests about recieving bug bites in bed. This is the 4th resort I have stayed at in Varadero Cuba and will not return to it

Relatively worry free and comfortable. The food was okay. Being a seasoned traveller, I was a little disappointed in the food to be honest but it wasn't bad. Just not amazing. The rooms are clean and everyone is very pleasant. Service staff is friendly, happy and accomodating. I would consider coming back. It would be nice if some excursions would be included. The impression was given they are and ended up having to pay for them.
Long commute to Havana if that's one you're agenda.

the front desk refused to exchange £20 pound notes saying they were lot valid (like there were supposed to be new plastic ones??), making us feel like thieves...horrible service and attitudes. No towels, Mojito bar without mojito drink, you also get 1 water bottle per stay then you have to buy in the shop...madness.

Worst 4 Star hotel I’ve ever been. Pictures on the reviews aren’t the same as the reality, it’s much more worse. Find crock roaches in the room, broken tv, broken A/C, poor-quality equipments, change bath towel once per five days and food are bad and always the same...well, choose 5 Star hotel will be your best choice seriously.

My experience was verry bad the resort for a full week had no Mojitos. Really when your main bar is called Mojitos! Anyway food was verry verry verry bad. But that is no surprise in Cuba in general but not as bad as it was for a 4 star Resort. Service was mediocre. After we asked 4 times to get towels in our room cause they did not leave any in the room 2 hours later we got them. Anyways was my badest experience for life in Cuba and god know I have been all over Cuba more than 58 times. But my last experience kind of made me think!
