This 30000 acre Merino station is located alongside the Ahuriri River 15 minutes’ drive from Omarama town centre. Dunstan Downs High Country Sheep Station is a 30-minute drive from Twizel and a 1-hour drive from Wanaka. Queenstown Airport is within a 2-hour drive. There are 2 types of accommodation at the Dunstan Downs High Country Sheep Station.The Homestay- A-frame house is our home which we are happy to share with our guests. The house has a queen room with ensuite bathroom and a twin room (2 single beds) and a single room both these rooms have a shared family bathroom . The price for the homestay rooms includes breakfast. Several cafes and restaurants in Omarama for dinner. The self contained dormitory rooms are located at the front of the property and feature 6 rooms with shared facilities. Mountain bike enthusiasts are sure to love the various off-road tracks running through the property.
