Dear customers, please have in mind that this owner kicks people out in order to rent it through AirBnb. During the winter, that the tourism is low, she rents the apartments to local people. Obviously without any contract which means no taxes for the 200€ rent. This year when the first customers came she kicked a person out without any notice, even though the agreement was to stay until march. When this person said that he doesnt have anywhere to stay she said "I dont care sleep on a bench". Dear customers, welcome to Chania but please keep in mind that many people get kicked from many houses for the sake of AirBnb. Please avoid these places.

DO NOT BOOK A STAY AT THIS HOTEL!
Booked a room at this hotel. In route to Greece they messaged me stating they over booked and that my reservation was cancelled. I explained to them that I didn’t have good internet access and they put me in a difficult position.
They then offered to find me a place to stay, but I did not hear back from them in a timely fashion. In the meantime, I already booked another location. After telling them this they essentially said too bad, we gave your money to this other hotel and you have to pay them more money in addition to what you paid us to stay there. I never consented to the new location or even the price of the new location.
They charged me a cancellation fee despite the fact that the cancellation was their fault and refused to return it. I asked Expedia to get involved. Hera studios told Expedia they would NOT give me a refund.
I went to the hotel twice over the course of my trip to talk to them and collect the money I was owed in person, but there was no staff and the doors were closed. It seems that service is only available at the convenience of the ownership.
Additionally, the building does not seem secure. I say this because because no staff was on site. They left notes with keys attached to paper stating the customer name and room number outside of the building by the front door in the open for anyone to see and potentially take the keys or access the room. This is especially unsettling given the fact that many peddlers and gypsy are located less than a block away.
This is not a proper way to do business. After having to find an alternative place to stay, I can say that there are many other wonderful adorable locations in Chania to stay at.

This cute hotel was perfect. It is located on a cute little street in the old venetian port of chania. The owner, Lena, is very kind and helpfull. She arranged an early check-in for us since we arrived in Chania at 6 am. Our balcony had a view on the cute little street and on the ocean. The location was perfect since we were able to visit everything by foot, old port, market, city center, beaches and more. There are a lot of restaurants and shops near the hotel. Lena is wonderfull and very comprehensive, she made our stay in Chania very pleasant and comfortable. She also gave us a little bottle of ouzo and some little snacks when we got to our room. I would definetaly recommand this hotel.

We stayed here last year and I would happily return. We got the rooftop suite, which had a cute little kitchen and bathroom on the bottom floor, and bedroom and rooftop balcony on the second floor. It was absolutely perfect and beautiful! We arrived quite late at night after getting lost but it was no problem. Parking is nearby. This hotel is in the perfect location, five minutes walking west is a nice beach, and two minutes in any other direction takes you to the historical part of town with many restaurants/cafes and cute shops. However this hotel is on the quieter end of the neighbourhood. We ate breakfast on the rooftop balcony every morning and watched the sun come up over the ocean. The kitchen came with everything we needed to cook ourselves breakfast every morning and a small fridge. The bedroom had an a/c and the bed was comfortable. Cute cats were all over the neighbourhood too and very friendly. Only thing I would improve would be the shower, it had no curtain or curtain rod so it soaked the entire bathroom in a five minute shower.
