Excelente ubicación y restaurante y bar bien equipados. El comedor principal es amplio y luminoso. El área de la cocina se puede ver desde su mesa, lo que siempre brinda confianza, ya que puede ver las condiciones: esto fue excelente. Personal agradable. La espera para la comida después de ordenar fue un poco larga, sin embargo, estos son tiempos difíciles (c-19) y el número de personal y la capacidad y eficiencia de la cocina pueden haberse reducido. Mientras tanto, la excelente cerveza local de las Azores hizo que el tiempo pasara con una buena conversación :) Pedí la 'Hamburguesa de pollo crujiente, tocino, queso y papas fritas'. Ahora aquí es donde la revisión se vuelve complicada:La espera fue demasiado larga, como temía, y la hamburguesa de pollo crujiente estaba demasiado cocida, algo seca y otros 2 minutos habrían visto la capa crujiente convertida en carbón. Pude ver que esta habría sido una muy buena hamburguesa si se hubiera servido con prontitud y cuidado con el tiempo. Lástima. Comí poco más de la mitad. Mientras tanto, el pan estaba lleno de deliciosas verduras para ensalada, buen tocino y queso local. El bollo en sí estaba bien. La comida estaba muy bien presentada (vajilla, ubicación, etc.)Las patatas fritas están hechas a mano y tienen un sabor excelente: sin embargo, como con el problema anterior con respecto a la espera, no estaban muy calientes, a diferencia de un segundo lado de batatas que todos probamos ... Guau. Así que, de nuevo, si todo se hubiera servido con prontitud cuando estaban listas, las patatas fritas habrían sido sublimes.Las raciones son "generosas", pero bastante normales para los estándares de las Azores. ¡Luché con las papas fritas al final y las compartí con un compañero de mesa!Café para terminar, y yo tomé la mía 'com musica' (¡con espíritus!). ¡Realmente bueno y caliente! Se agregó una generosa cantidad de Bagaco (Aguardente) :)Todos lo pasaron muy bien y no se presentaron quejas; no tengo ninguna duda de que cualquier cosa se habría cambiado o corregido, pero este fue un momento divertido con amigos y no un momento para comenzar a quejarse o quejarse de las cosas. Great location and well appointed restaurant and bar. The main dining area is bright and roomy. The kitchen area is viewable from your table, which always brings confidence as you can see the conditions: This was excellent.

The wait for the food after ordering was a little long, however, these are difficult times (c-19) and staff numbers and kitchen capacity and efficiency may have been reduced.
Meanwhile excellent local Azorean Beer made the time pass with good conversation :)
I ordered the 'Crispy Chicken Burger, Bacon, Cheese and Fries'. Now this is where the review gets tricky:
The wait was too long, as I feared, and the crispy chicken burger was overcooked, somewhat dry and another 2 minutes would have seen the crispy coating turned to carbon. I could see that this would have been a very nice burger if served promptly and care taken with timing. Shame. I ate just over half. Meanwhile the bun was filled with nice salad greens, good bacon and local cheese. The bun itself was fine. The food was very nicely presented (tableware, placement etc.)
The fries are hand made, and tasted superb: however, as with the above problem regarding the wait, they were not very hot, unlike a second side of sweet potatoes we all tried... straight out the fryer! Wow. So again, if all had been served promptly when ready they fries would have been sublime.
The portions are 'generous', but quite normal by Azorean standards! I struggled with the fries at the end and shared with a table mate!
Coffee to finish with, and I had mine 'com musica' (with spirits!). Really good and hot! A generous amount of Bagaco (Aguardente) was added :)
Everyone had a great time, and no complaints were made - I have no doubt that anything would have been changed or corrected, but this was fun time with friends and not time to start whingeing or moaning about things. And as an aside, I wasn't paying - it was a friends 'treat'.
The point of the meal was about the company and fun and not about the lack of a 5 star dining experience for what are 2 star prices. So I have to cut some slack. And as I mention, these are difficult times for the management and staff.
Returning, I will try one of the regular burgers, as most others had this and had no complaints, and tucked in with gusto. So perhaps it was just my plate and choice of very crispy chicken!
I can see why this establishment gets high ratings, I guess I was just unlucky.

El apartamento era bastante bonito, limpio, sin ruidos dentro de la habitación. La vista era fantástica (Azevinho) pero, por lo que he oído, todas las habitaciones tienen vistas bonitas (y diferentes). El propietario es agradable y muy servicial, y el café bar de la planta baja es un gran lugar para relajarse antes de acostarse.

The apartment was quite nice looking, clean, no noise at all inside the room. The view was fantastic (Azevinho) but from what I heard all the rooms have nice (and different) views.
The owner is nice and very helpful, and the Cafe bar downstairs is a great place to relax before bedtime.
