Devo confessar que reservei o Platia porque estávamos cada vez mais perto da nossa viagem e ainda não tínhamos um quarto reservado para Santorini. Eu tinha receio de ficar bem na área turística - achei que seria como ficar perto da rodoviária de uma cidade grande.Uau, eu estava errado.Sim, a Platia fica bem na área turística, mas na verdade é uma área turística muito boa (compre o iogurte grego congelado na Chill Box), a rua onde fica é quase toda pedonal, e a própria Platia é linda. Quartos e banheiros grandes, limpos e atualizados, todas as comodidades que você poderia imaginar, além de algumas que eu nunca imaginei. Existem apenas três quartos no hotel, que costumava ser a "casa de cidade" dos proprietários. Nota: há muitas escadas, como qualquer casa tradicional grega. O telhado tem uma excelente vista, mas a nossa varanda também. Foi um ótimo lugar para relaxar após um longo dia de turismo.Eu realmente não conseguia superar como os quartos eram bons, e tornar a nossa estadia ainda melhor foi a proprietária / gerente Christina. Ela fala inglês excelente junto com um monte de outras línguas e foi extremamente útil, seja explicando a caldeira de ovo na sala (os ovos são de suas próprias galinhas, que, felizmente, não moram no hotel) ou garantindo que nós conseguimos uma transferência suficientemente cedo para que não perdêssemos nossa balsa. Ninguém deveria estar tão alegre o tempo todo, mas ficamos muito felizes por ela estar. Ela é uma excelente hoteleira que administra um lugar lindo. Eu não posso recomendar o suficiente.

O anfitrião é muito simpático e agradável eo quarto é muito limpo, moderno e cheio de comodidades. Hotel muito exclusivo, com apenas 3 quartos (localizados no segundo andar), com recepção no 3º / último andar, com uma bela vista do pátio. O quarto em si é bastante espaçoso e muito moderno. Os quartos têm tudo o que você esperaria de um hotel normal, mas o anfitrião também fornece adaptadores de tomada e até ovos frescos de sua própria fazenda de frangos com uma pequena caldeira de ovos para um bom café da manhã. O local está localizado na rua principal de Fira, com muitas lojas e restaurantes, por isso é extremamente conveniente. No geral, minha namorada e eu tivemos uma estadia muito agradável aqui.

Prós - Excelente localização e instalações. Suas toalhas cheiram divinamente! O proprietário foi muito simpático e facilmente contactável via whatsapp. Tem tudo o que você precisa! Excelentes quartos à prova de som. Contras - Infelizmente, como fica logo acima da praça principal em cima de um restaurante (não há elevador, então você tem que carregar as malas pelas escadas), há algum som estrondoso emitido do restaurante ou barulho dos vizinhos quando arrastam seus móveis. Basta trazer tampões de ouvido e você vai ficar bem (nós dois dormimos bem e temos sono leve).

Pros - Excelente ubicación e instalaciones. ¡Sus toallas huelen celestial! El propietario fue muy amable y fácilmente localizable a través de WhatsApp. ¡Tiene todo lo que necesitas! Excelentes habitaciones insonorizadas. Desventajas: desafortunadamente, como está justo encima de la plaza principal en la parte superior de un restaurante (no hay ascensor, así que tienes que subir las maletas por las escaleras), hay un sonido retumbante que se emite desde el restaurante o el ruido de los vecinos cuando arrastran sus muebles. Solo traiga tapones para los oídos y estará bien (ambos dormimos bien y tenemos el sueño ligero).

Pros - Excellent location and facilities. Their towels smells heavenly! Owner was really friendly and easily contactable via whatsapp. It has everything you need! Excellent sound proof rooms.
Cons - Unfortunately as it's right above the main square on top of a restaurant (there's no lift so you have the carry the suitcases up the stairs), there's some booming sound emitting from the restaurant or noise from neighbours when they drag their furniture. Just bring earplugs and you'll be fine (we both slept well and we're light sleepers).

Tivemos uma estadia encantadora no Platia Fira Luxury Rooms! Apesar de termos chegado tarde da noite, Christina tornou possível que tivéssemos uma noite boa e confortável. Ela nos ajudou a organizar um serviço de transporte do porto para o quarto para ter uma chegada tranquila e completa. O quarto era muito limpo e moderno. De manhã tomamos um café na pequena e ensolarada varanda. Eu recomendo ficar aqui e sempre voltaria. Muito obrigado por tudo Cristina! 🤗

¡Tuvimos una estancia encantadora en Platia Fira Luxury Rooms! Aunque llegamos tarde en la noche, Christina hizo posible que tuviéramos una buena y cómoda noche. Ella nos ayudó a organizar un servicio de transporte desde el puerto hasta la habitación para tener una llegada completa sin problemas. La habitación estaba muy limpia y moderna. We had a lovely stay at Platia Fira Luxury Rooms! Even though we arrived late at night Christina made it possible for us to have a good and comfortable night. She helped us to arrange a transport service from the port to the room to have a smooth full arrival. The room was very clean and modern. In the morning we had a coffee at the small and sunny balcony. I highly recommend staying here and would always come back. Thanks a lot for everything Christina! 🤗

I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough! The rooms are spotless clean with 5 star amenities! Comfortable and cozy! You are literally in the centre of Thira in walking distance to anything you might. This accommodation makes you feel home away from home.

We had a lovely getaway staying here at the Platia Fira Luxury Rooms. The location in Fira is very central and well connected to cafes, restaurants, grocery stores, ATMs, and rental places. Wonderful views from the balcony and hotel roof!

El anfitrión es muy amable y agradable y la habitación está muy limpia, moderna y llena de comodidades. Hotel muy exclusivo con solo 3 habitaciones (ubicadas en el segundo piso) con recepción en el 3er / último piso con una linda vista al patio. La habitación en sí es bastante espaciosa y muy moderna. Las habitaciones tienen todo lo que esperarías de un hotel normal, pero el anfitrión también ofrece adaptadores de salida e incluso huevos frescos de su propia granja de pollos con una caldera de huevo para un buen desayuno. El lugar está ubicado en la calle principal de Fira con muchas tiendas y restaurantes, por lo que es extremadamente conveniente. En general, mi novia y yo tuvimos una estancia muy agradable aquí.

I have to confess that I booked the Platia because we were getting closer to our trip and still didn't have a room reserved for Santorini. I had misgivings about staying right in the tourist area -- I figured it would be like staying near the bus station in a big city.Wow, was I wrong.Yes, the Platia is right in the tourist area, but turns out it's a really nice tourist area (get the frozen Greek yogurt at Chill Box), the street it's on is mostly pedestrian-only, and the Platia itself is gorgeous. Big, clean, updated rooms and bathrooms, all the amenities you could think of plus some I'd never imagined. There are only three rooms at the hotel, which used to be the owners' "city house". Note: there are a lot of stairs, like any traditional Greek house. The roof has a great view, but so did our balcony. It was a great place to relax after a hard day of touristing.I really couldn't get over how nice the rooms were, and making our stay even better was owner/manager Christina. She speaks excellent English along with a bunch of other languages and was extremely helpful, whether it was explaining the egg boiler in the room (the eggs are from her own chickens, who, thankfully, do not live at the hotel) or making sure we got a transfer early enough so we wouldn't miss our ferry. No one should be that cheerful all the time, but we were really glad she was. She's a master hotelier who runs a beautiful place. I cannot recommend it enough.

The host is very friendly and nice and the room is very clean, modern and full of amenities. Very unique hotel with just 3 guest rooms (located on the second floor) with reception on the 3rd/top floor with a nice patio view. The room itself is quite spacious and very modern. The rooms have everything you would expect from a normal hotel, but the host also provides outlet adapters, and even fresh eggs from her own chicken farm with an cute little egg boiler for a nice breakfast. The place is located on the main street of Fira with lots of shops and restaurants so it's extremely convenient. Overall my girlfriend and I had a very nice stay here.

This is the best place we stayed in Greece and it’s due in a large part because of Christina, the owner.If it was possible to rate it higher than a #10 out of #10, I’d do it.Christina loves her job and loves helping people have a wonderful experience.She goes above and beyond in every way possible.For example, this was our honeymoon and out of all the places we stayed in Greece she was the only one to say congratulations to us and then she even provided us with a little gift bottle of sparkling wine!Above and beyond all the way.She has a special eye for decoration and luxurious comfort and has prepared the rooms with exquisite attention to detail.They are comfortable, beautiful and pampering.She provided bottled water, juice, snacks, eggs from her own chickens and an egg cooker, actually all amenities one could need.We loved the shutters on the windows, the balcony where we could sit and watch the goings on of the main street below, and the great shower with hot water delivered with great pressure.The Platia is across the (pedestrian-only) street from numerous little restaurants and shops.Everything is within walking distance, from museums to the bus station. Christiana is well connected and knew the best place for us to rent a car and even arranged the rental for us!She knows the area very well so had suggestions for our visit to Santorini and even arranged for a private beer tasting at the Yellow Donkey brewery for my husband who loves micro-brew beer.She’s also familiar with the other islands and had great suggestions for our trip to Naxos.I cannot think of a better ambassador for Santorini beauty than Christina, or a better experience for anyone to have than to stay at the Platia.
