I loved it here! We went here for our honeymoon with an all inclusive package my husband purchased online. I was terrified it was going to be some cheap place we were stranded in, in a different country but I was thoroughly surprised. As soon as we arrived we were treated like royalty! We were escorted everywhere on the property and even shown our VIP lounge where we could get snacks 24 hours a day. Our room was lovely, all staff were amazing, Daniel in the adult only pool was the best bartender I’ve ever had and the feed were amazing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, and I don’t normally say this.

If you’re looking for a place to sleep with a decent pool this is the place. If you’re going for the all inclusive resort experience then this is NOT your place. The view from our room was nice. The food is mediocre at its best. The buffet food was not very edible at times. The Italian and Japanese restaurants were okay. The cafe has a huge menu but hardly any of the food items on Available. I went one day for carrot cake and they didn’t have any the days I was there. I tried getting a muffin one morning and no luck either. Alcohol was hit or miss. The margaritas were not good. The sangrias were okay. You get what you paid for and being a member of the resort has absolutely no benefits outside of the upgraded room.

We recently visited Reflect and was disappointed with our overall experience.
The Room: When we arrived just after 3pm, our room was not ready and we were told it was being deep cleaned and would be ready in an hour. Once we got to the room, it was a huge disappointment. Not only was it super small, but the bathroom sink didn’t have a handle ultimately making it inoperable. We reported it to the front desk and was told the resort was completely booked. The bellman who helped us with our luggage even commented that the room was the worse one on the resort and had known issues. He said that the cleaning staff should have reported the issue with the sink. After further back and forth, they showed us a room in the Residence tower. It was a nice one bedroom suite but it only had one bed. (Our original reservation was for a double.) The front desk ultimately said we had to take the king bed suite or the double bed room with the broken sink. We went with the king bed suite and tried to make it work by using the sofa bed, which is not fit for a dog. The second major issue was the shower. There’s no pressure in the shower, which many guests complained about. In addition, in our suite, the hot water would go in and out while taking a shower. Maintenance came multiple times to “fix” the issue but it was never resolved. Also, if you stay at the Residence, please be advised that the resort sits in a busy street and you can hear the noise from the road very well in the bedrooms.
Features/Amenities: As for the resort itself, all three pools were supposed to be heated but none were. The hot tub was warm at best. Probably what the pools would have felt like had they been heated as advertised. On New Year’s Eve, the WiFi went down and was not fixed by the time we left the next afternoon.
Dining: The food options in the resort were mediocre. The best feature is the coffee shop and the snack bar by the pools. One night, I called for room service around 10pm). All the restaurants close early (10:30-11pm). No one answered the phone. After trying to reach them for 30 minutes, I finally gave up and went to bed hungry.

This resort is more budget friendly however they had higher end alcohol than the Riu resorts. I recommend you go to the roof top bar and relax watching the ocean view. The bartender, I forget his name, was absolutely hilarious and seemed to be having a great time as well which is nice to see. We only stayed one night and chose the Japanese restaurant and were quite happy with the food. Good hospitality!

My first day here and completely disappointed with the quality of the food. Disgusting really. Tried the Grill tonight and the buffet. Both disgusting. I’m so disappointed to have had such a disgusting dinner for Christmas. Basically, had to walk away from the grill and go get tacos. The drinks are also bad. How can they not get a margarita right? No coffee this morning! I’m infuriated we are spending $16k here and ruining my holiday vacation with my kids.
I wish I could just leave but they took our money already.
