Um hotel extraordinário, todo decorado com características Art Déco, incluindo os bules de chá requintados com uso de placas de prata da época. Essa atenção aos detalhes foi uma vantagem real. Comecei com o chá da tarde, depois coquetéis e petiscos à noite antes de uma estadia muito confortável em um quarto na velha casa. Café da manhã na manhã seguinte também foi ótimo, toda a comida e bebida que tínhamos era da mais alta qualidade. A equipe foi muito simpática, eficiente e nada era demais, sempre com um sorriso. Menção especial para Molly no café da manhã, que foi uma verdadeira embaixadora do hotel. Mal posso esperar para a próxima ocasião especial, pois certamente estaremos de volta.

Todos nós apreciamos a nossa experiência de chá da tarde e apreciamos o truque do fumo de mesa, os funcionários foram simpáticos e acolhedores. O local tinha uma decoração adorável. Ficamos em um quarto no andar térreo, que não era no hotel, mas nas instalações, se isso faz sentido. Eu sugiro que, no momento da reserva, solicite um quarto no hotel real, e não um quarto no andar térreo. Eu imagino que eles sejam mais legais. O estacionamento era ótimo. O café da manhã estava disponível até as 10h, e entre as 10h e as 15h há apenas lanches disponíveis e chá da tarde. No entanto, há um bom lugar do outro lado da estrada, chamado Highbury, que é útil para fazer uma refeição entre os horários. O interior do hotel e restaurante principal é muito bom e os funcionários são excelentes.

Un hotel extraordinario, decorado en su totalidad con elementos Art Deco que incluyen las teteras con exquisito uso de la placa de plata de la época. Esta atención al detalle fue una verdadera ventaja. Comenzó con el té de la tarde, luego cócteles y bocadillos por la noche antes de una estancia muy cómoda en una habitación de la casa antigua. El desayuno de la mañana siguiente también fue excelente, toda la comida y bebida que tuvimos fue de la más alta calidad. El personal era muy amable, eficiente y nada era demasiado problema siempre con una sonrisa. Mención especial para Molly en el desayuno que fue una verdadera embajadora del hotel. Lovley place for afternoon tea. High class food! The only thing I would say is shame about parking. You have to go to a pay and display carpark would be good to have free parking on the hotel. But it's beautiful to visit for drinks or afternoon tea. I would recommend this place!

We all enjoyed our afternoon tea experience and enjoyed the table smoke trick, staff were friendly and welcoming. The venue had lovely decor. Also they had a good selection of food and cater to individual needs. I would definitely go back again. Parking can be tricky however they do have pay display carpark across the road.

An extraordinary hotel, decorated throughout with Art Deco features including the tea pots exquisite use of silver plate of the period. This attention to detail was a real plus. Started with afternoon tea, then cocktails and nibbles in the evening before a very comfortable stay in a room in the old house. Breakfast the next morning was also great, all the food and drink we had was of the highest quality. Staff were very friendly, efficient and nothing was too much trouble always with a smile. Special mention for Molly at breakfast who was a true ambassador for the hotel. Can't wait for the next special occasion as we will definitely be back.

Considering it’s a 4 star hotel I’d give it 4 stars overall for what it is. We stayed the night here, the room smelt a bit musty so much so it lingered on my clothes. The bed was a double, felt like it should be a king size considering the prices. The room itself was nice, but a strange layout. We stayed in a ground floor bedroom, that wasn’t on the hotel but on the premises if that makes sense. I’d suggest when booking to ask for a room in the actual hotel, and not a ground floor bedroom. I imagine them to be nicer. Parking was great. Breakfast was available until 10am, and between times 10am-3pm there is only bar snacks available and afternoon tea. However there’s a nice place across the road from here called the Highbury which is handy to get a meal in between times. The inside of the main hotel and restaurant is really nice and the staff are great.

Just had Afternoon Tea here to celebrate our parents 70th Wedding Anniversary. A fantastic time. Staff were friendly, professional and extremely polite. They made the day really special. The food was amazing!!One of the best Afternoon Teas we’ve had.
