The cool pool free Wi-Fi and welcome location near I-64 make for a winning combo of amenities at the Mulberry Inn and Plaza at Fort Eustis. The two-story inn houses 158 rooms featuring free Wi-Fi microwaves mini-fridges coffeemakers and cable TV and non-smoking rooms are available. After tidying up corporate duties in the business center unwind in the game room the seasonal outdoor pool or the 24-hour fitness center. On-site parking is free and pets are allowed. Situated off I-64 the Mulberry Inn is less than 10 miles north of central Newport News and within two miles northeast of Fort Eustis and the U.S. Army Transportation Museum. Guests can head north for top excursions including Busch Gardens eight miles away and Colonial Williamsburg less than 15 miles. Newport News Williamsburg International Airport is six miles south.

Stayed here for a week and it was very nice for a lower price hotel. The rooms were very pretty big and the beds were super comfortable. The WiFi is free and pretty good quality. Love that they are Dog-Friendly. Staff are super nice and welcoming and were there to help with anything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Um motel muito decadente. Olhando através da porta de vidro do corredor para o nosso quarto, e um close na porta do nosso quarto, mostra que realmente precisa de uma limpeza profunda nas paredes, portas e carpete do corredor. Eles não ofereceram uma "sacola para viagem" de café da manhã durante a pandemia. Pelo menos a janela de trás do nosso quarto dava para a floresta, onde era silencioso. Não posso reclamar muito pelo preço. Serviu ao nosso propósito por uma noite. Mas eu escolheria outro motel da próxima vez. PS: Decidi tomar um café decente, a 5 minutos a pé do motel, no próximo 7-11. E se alguém estiver interessado, há 2 clubes de cavalheiros entre o 7-11 e uma lavanderia a seco.

Nosso quarto tinha um cheiro muito ruim de cigarro, o banheiro tinha mofo e uma luz muito insegura à direita acima do chuveiro. A cozinha tinha insetos mortos por toda a luz acima da pia, o vaso sanitário mal dava descarga, os cobertores e as toalhas estavam mofados, os hóspedes que ficavam aqui durante a semana eram barulhentos e perturbadores. As camas eram mais confortáveis do que eu esperava e todas as luzes, TV e geladeira funcionaram e pudemos ter nosso cachorro aqui conosco ou eu teria dado apenas 1 estrela. Duvido que eu consiga um reembolso de qualquer tipo, disposto a riscar como "você recebe o que paga" desta vez.

Motel bastante deteriorado. Mirar a través de la puerta de vidrio del pasillo de nuestra habitación, y un primer plano de la puerta de nuestra habitación, muestra que realmente se necesita un lavado profundo de las paredes, las puertas y la alfombra del pasillo. No ofrecieron una "bolsa para llevar" de desayuno durante la pandemia. Al menos, la ventana trasera de nuestra habitación daba al bosque, donde reinaba el silencio. No puedo quejarme mucho por el precio. Sirvió a nuestro propósito por una noche. Pero la próxima vez elegiría otro motel. PD: Decidí tomar un café decente, a 5 minutos a pie del motel, en el cercano 7-11. Y si alguien está interesado, hay 2 clubes de caballeros entre el 7-11 y una tintorería.

Nuestra habitación tenía un olor muy malo a cigarrillos, el baño tenía moho y una luz muy peligrosa justo encima de la ducha. La cocina tenía insectos muertos en toda la luz sobre el fregadero, el inodoro apenas se descargaba, las mantas y las toallas estaban mohosas, los huéspedes que se quedaban aquí por semana eran ruidosos y molestos. Las camas eran más cómodas de lo que esperaba y todas las luces, la televisión y la nevera funcionaban y pudimos tener a nuestro perro aquí con nosotros o solo le hubiera dado 1 estrella. Dudo que obtenga un reembolso de cualquier tipo, dispuesto a atribuirlo a "obtienes lo que pagas" esta vez.

Pretty run down motel. Looking through the glass door of the hallway to our room, and a closeup to our room door, shows that it really needs a deep scrub to the walls, doors, and hallway carpet. They didn't offer a "takeout bag" of breakfast during the pandemic. At least our room back window faced the woods, where it was quiet. I can't complain that much for the price. It served our purpose for one night. But I would choose another motel next time. PS: I decided to get a decent coffee, a 5 minute walk from the motel, at the nearby 7-11 . And if anyone is interested, there are 2 gentleman's clubs between the 7-11 and a dry cleaners.

Our room had a very bad cigarette smell, the bathroom had mold and a very unsafe looking light right above the shower. Kitchen had dead bugs all over the light above the sink, toilet barely flushed, blankets and towels were musty, guests staying here by the week were loud and disruptive. Beds were more comfortable than I expected and all lights, TV, and fridge worked and we were able to have our dog here with us or I would have only given 1 star. I doubt I will get a refund of any sort, willing to chalk it up to "you get what you pay for" this time around.

Disgusting. Didn’t feel safe. Rooms were dirty. They won’t refund us our money because we checked in. How were we to know our rooms would look this way? Sad! Needs to be shut down!

This hotel was amazing. The staff was super hospitable. The room was very clean and nice. Our room had something spilled on the carpet and we went to tell the front desk just so we didn't get blamed and they offered us a different room they were very accommodating I would definitely recommend this hotel
