I'm getting ready to checkout after 3 weeks of staying here, and thought I would write a review with the extra time. I have nothing negative to say about this location. The staff is super friendly, the cleaning lady does a great job and always says hello with a smile, it's quiet, and there's no sign of indoor bugs like the other hotels I've used in the area. I will definitely be back if I need a hotel in the Prairieville/Gonzales area. They also have weekly rates and breakfast. Highly recommended.

I have not stayed in a hotel room that cost under $100 that was this clean in more than 30 years. Very clean room and polite staff (all of them). The room also had a kitchenette with sink, microwave, stove and fridge/freezer. If you are going to be in this area and need a place to stay, stay here. We were there for New Orleans, which is about an hour away.

Very affordable, clean rooms, and quiet. They are also pet friendly which was a necessity for our family. We stayed two nights and left well rested. The only caveat, the free breakfast exemplified you get what you pay for, but then again. This place was affordable!

Prós - O quarto em si era decentemente limpo e cheirava bem, o café da manhã gratuito era bom, o ar condicionado era silencioso, o hotel está em uma boa localização e tem um estacionamento bem iluminado. Parece que algumas atualizações foram feitas no hotel - por exemplo, comentários anteriores reclamaram de fumar nas áreas comuns. O hotel colocou placas dizendo que o hotel é 100% não fumante e você pode ser multado em até US$ 500. Isso mostra que alguém está lendo comentários e trabalhando para melhorar o que pode. Você só recebe 2 por quarto, e se você pedir mais na recepção, eles dizem para você trazer suas 2 toalhas usadas e colocá-las na lavanderia da equipe para permitir mais (muito estranho e pouco profissional). O quarto precisava de pintura nova, muitos arranhões e amassados nas paredes. A ventilação do banheiro era barulhenta e gritava continuamente toda vez que você acendia a luz, e também estava muito empoeirada. A cadeira do quarto tinha uma queimadura de cigarro. A roupa de cama era áspera e fina/desfiada um pouco. Os corredores cheiravam a mofo por algum motivo, talvez os tapetes estejam um pouco fedidos ou algo assim.

Pros- Room itself was decently clean and smelled nice, the free breakfast was nice, the AC was quiet, the hotel is in a good location and has a well lit parking lot. It seems like some updates have been made to the hotel- for example, previous reviews complained about smoking in common areas. The hotel has put up signs saying the hotel is 100% non smoking and you could be fined up to $500. So that shows that someone is reading reviews and working to improve what they can. The staff were all very kind.
Cons- The bed itself was very firm, and personally I don't like firm beds but I know some people might. The pillows were cheap and thin, and front desk said they "don't do" extra pillows. The towels are rough and ridiculously small, they fit my 3 year old. You only get 2 per room, and if you ask for more from the front desk they tell you to bring down your 2 used towels and put then into the staff laundry room in order to be allowed more (very odd and unprofessional). The room needed new paint, many scratches and dents on the walls. The bathroom vent was loud and squealed continuously every time you turned the light on, and it was very dusty as well. The chair in the room had a cigarette burn on it. The bedding was rough and thin/threadbare a bit. The hallways smelled musty for some reason, maybe the carpets are a little stinky or something.

Contras- A cama deixou muito a desejar, muito elástica. A banheira não escoava. Não havia lâmpadas nas mesas finais, o que significava que você tinha que ter as luzes principais acesas ou nada. A TV ligava e desligava como se estivesse com wifi ruim.Prós- Café-da-manhã foi waffles, frutas e alguns ovos. Café era bom e 24/7. Funcionários simpáticos e relativamente tranquilos. Por bastante fora da estrada onde você não ouviu o tráfego. Muito limpo, sem cheiros estranhos.

Desventajas: La cama dejaba mucho que desear, muy elástica. La bañera no desaguaba. No había lámparas en las mesas laterales, lo que significaba que tenías que tener las luces principales encendidas o nada. La televisión se encendía y se apagaba como si tuviera mala conexión wifi.Pros: el desayuno consistía en gofres, fruta y algunos huevos. El café era bueno y 24/7. Personal amable y relativamente tranquilo. Por lo suficiente fuera de la carretera donde no escuchaste el tráfico. Bastante limpio, sin olores extraños.

Cons- The bed left a good deal to be desired, very springy. The tub didn't drain. There were no lamps on the end tables which meant you had to have the main lights on or nothing. The TV cut in and out like it was on bad wifi.Pros- Breakfast was waffles, fruit, and some eggs. Coffee was good and 24/7. Friendly staff and relatively quiet. For enough off the road where you didn't hear the traffic. Pretty clean, no weird smells.

This was one of the best hotels that I ever stayed in! The staff is very professional and interactive with guests. They also make sure that you and your family needs are met and considered. Very pet friendly atmosphere. The rooms are very clean and spacious. It's very quiet and in the perfect area of Prairieville with everything being in walking distance! I wish that I could give more than 5 stars honestly. My family and I felt like we were at home. Thanks again for your tremendous services!!!❤❤❤

Pretty clean for a pet friendly. Cleaning crew very friendly. Room and carpets smell a bit dank though, and windows don't open, which I always hate. Small for a suite with kitchen, no dishes, pots pans or anything provided, so tricky for a shorter stay. Check in was smooth and friendly but morning woman not so. Seemed annoyed when I asked for paper plates. Overall an ok stay. A few minor complaints that added up to a lost star.
