Loved my stay here! It is away from the water so do need to rent a car or golf cart to get around. I felt like I was living in tree house! Staff were super sweet and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

This place is phenomenal and feels like it’s bringing you back to nature. If you’re like my wife and I, the stress of the city will melt away as you step foot into this gorgeous place.
It’s so nice, that I have trouble finding the right words for it.
They make your bed while you’re out, restock your fridge with healthy breakfast items (eggs, milk, bite sized pastries,coffee,butter, etc.)
And if you get lucky, you’ll have some of the wild horses come around and graze in the back yard like we did!
Phenomenal. We will be coming back one day for sure!!!

One of the best vacations we have had in a while. The architecture was unbelievable. Some of the best views on the island. The room we has was just fantastic. Just so open and relaxing to be one with nature. The pool was a wonderful. The food provided for breakfast was perfect. The staff was first class. One of the best places to visit if you are looking for a romantic getaway. We already want to go back!

This place is AMAZING!!! We love the breathtaking views and the architecture. The service is impressive. We ran into some issues and had to find a place to stay at last minute. The manager told us he’ll hold the place for us and even if we can’t get to Vieques as planned, we can just call him to cancel it on the same day. They have eggs, juices, milk, bread and various jams in the kitchen. They also let us borrow the snorkeling gears for free. The location is easy to get to. We rented a golf cart and it was about 10 min drive to the beach. Fantastic experience and definitely recommend!!!

We absolutely loved the Hix Island House and wish we could have stayed longer! The rooms are very spacious with a beautiful view and outdoor shower. The temperature is just perfect with a consistent breeze running through the room/apartment. The hotel staff were also really friendly and offered us so much assistance when our flight was cancelled and our arrival time had changed. The pool area is beautiful and the breakfast is a nice extra touch. Falling asleep with the view of nature and the stars was magical. I would highly recommend this hotel for the service, aesthetic and nature. We will definitely be back!
