Ótimo custo benefício em Nova Iorque. Staff atencioso e tem um singelo cafe da manhã. Quartos limpos, cama confortável. Faltam tomadas individuais.
A estrutura eh ate boa, mas pra mim, o atendimento tem que ser bom e ambiente agradavel, e nesses quesitos estao muito a desejar.
A localização é ótima, ao lado da estação 50 st, então é fácil de chegar do aeroporto JFK, porém a organização deixa a desejar. Quando cheguei minha cama não estava arrumada (estava com a roupa de cama do hóspede anterior) e eu mesma tive que arrumá-la depois de quase implorar pra alguém me ajudar, porque eu estava cansada da viagem. Fora isso, foi bem tranquilo.
Bom! Ótima localização, limpeza, tranquilo, porém café é bem fraco...
Custo benefício pois fica próximo do central park metrô mercado alguns pontos turísticos pode-se ir a pé
Excelente localizacao, limpo, bom chuveiro. Apenas o front desk precisa de mais atencioso e proativo. Fiquei no 202A com a cama quebrada is 6 dias (reclamei 2 vezes...and answer was maintenance guy is coming...) Ainda asim recomendo.
Excelente custo benefício, localização privilegiada e extremamente limpo. Meu único problema foi uma cobrança indevida pela internet (que supostamente era gratuita, mas foi cobrada uma pequena taxa).
This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and I don't know why the reviews are so harsh. The staff are super lovely and accommodating. Me and my friend had booked at different times and were allocated different rooms for the first night but after that the staff were happy to move us to the same room. Rooms are cleaned daily and have great Aircon, even if it is a little noisy. The most fustrating thing is not having access to a plug on the top bunk and having to leave your phone to charge on the floor. Breakfast of bagels and tea/coffee was set up daily which was a treat, especially if on a budget. I feel most of the bad comments on here were from people who were expecting a hotel but couldn't afford one. It's also in a super amazing and central location. The only downside was trying to email the hostel before had. I messaged about 3 weeks before asking to be placed with my friend and then 5 days before I messages everyday and I finally got a reply asking my friends details but still nothing was done about it until we got there. Anyway, long review short I had electricity, a shower and a place to sleep and I can't say anything bad about that! - bring a lock for the lockers. - first time(2019) I wasn't given a towel but 2nd time (2022) I was. - Filtered water refil. - there is a toilet in the common area if someone's in your room toilet (in the seating area)
Solo fui de entrada por salida, tuve problemas con la app donde reserve por que me ofrecian como una cama disponible me tuvieron que mudar a otro lugar y tuve que pagar por mis servicios, el otro lugar estaba con muchas carencias.
Cama cómoda, baños limpios, lockers en las habitaciones para guardar tus cosas (hay que llevar candado) y me tocó buena suerte de los roomies respetuosos y pude dejar cargando celular y audífonos sin supervisión por un par de horas y sin problemas. Por las mañanas sirven café y un baggel, nada extraordinario pero sirve como un snack Además cuentan con refrigerador comunitario y un filtro de agua para llenar botellas, es demasiado útil porque al día te ahorra $5 o hasta más
Estuve 3 días. La ubicación es lo mejor. Es solo para ir a dormir. Limpio, los chicos amables. El desayuno es café o té con bagel. No hay cocina solo 1 horno eléctrico y heladera para guardar cosas. Volvería.
En mes de junio reserva en este hostal yal llegar no tenian mi reservacion, pese a que ya estaba pagado por 2 noches, no quisieron hacerme mi devolucion, tuve que ir a otro lugar en times square, pagando un 200%, esa noche perdi mucho dinero...son unos rateros..no reserven con ellos, lo barato me salio muy caro.
Reserve en Expedia, llegando al hotel me dijeron que no estaba mi reservación. Al momento el hotel no responde a Expedia por la reclamación. FRAUDE!
Hostal con habitaciones compartidas. Literas de 4 y 6 personas divididas por género. Hispanohablantes. Cama cómoda. Pero el aire acondicionado saca ruido constante toda la noche. Será tu nana para dormir y tu despertador. 85 la noche.
Location is good. FULL STOP. Amenities and facilities lacking. No AC in common area, AC broken not fixed. Summer time hot weather. Sharing fridge a mess, no label. Guest took other guest items from fridge, happened to me. When check in, rest room soap dispenser empty, have to ask them to refill. I stayed for 4 nights, on third day I went to front desk to ask for a new towel. The staff said need to charge $5 for towel, what!! I have stayed in a few backpacker hostel, this is definitely not recommended
Ótima localização, perto de tudo, e por sorte a atendente, na época, era brasileira e me ajudou mto com indicações de lugares
They're thieves. When I arrived at the hostel, my booking was missing. And I booked at prices that include TAXES, so that's why my booking was "non-refundable"thing (because of the TAXES). But Staff charged me WITH TAXES and paid a total of approximately $ 70 more. I was very angry, unpleasant, and I don't know How long should I wait. It's been already two weeks ago and I claimed the third time but they never answered. I hope I'll get a refund quickly. Please don't come here. You can't use a hair dryer here, and you have to buy a towel. But if you tell the cleaner, they give it to you for free (so weird). It was so uncomfortable. I made a reservation using hostel dot com, but I can't get a refund even though it wasn't my fault. They even stole more money. I'm going to file a lawsuit.
One of the worthless hostel in New York. Receptionist wasn't available at the time of check in and after several calls, I was able to check in. No towel was provided. I was confirmed single bed as per my booking, however I was provided bunk bed. Toilet paper was finished as 4 people were in the room and since reception staff was not available, I couldn't request. Location is just 10 minutes away by walk from time square. No refund or compensation was provided as I end up checking out one day before due to pathetic service. Moreover, lockers does not had locks so you need to buy your own. which is was never been informed.
Location is good - really close to all the hustle bustle at the heart of the Manhattan city. Towels and toilet paper are provided on request at the reception. Shared rooms are a bit congested. Otherwise people were nice.
DO NOT book this place!! They will take your money without any consideration of your circumstances. I booked this hostel and a couple of hours later I had to cancel my reservation due to an emergency that I did not foresee at the time of my booking!! They decided that they will keep my money $654 to be exact and provide a refund of some kind of fee that was $21. I contacted the manager to help me out, they literally do not care. It’s such a poor customer service, so inconsiderate especially during these times. This is not a small amount that they are stealing from individuals who find themselves in a a unfortunate situation where they have no choice but to cancel the reservation. They are able to make exceptions but they refuse to! My reservation was not canceled the last minute, it was literally canceled hrs after booking. I will continue to share my experience regarding this hotel. They ignore the communication and refuse to provide name or contact of someone who is in charge of the hotel to look into my issue.
I arrived at midnight and was greeted by uninterested and unwelcoming staff. The bathroom had no soap or hand tissue. The receptionist said they didn't have any and would get them in the morning. The toilet paper was also almost finished and overall bathrooms were really dirty. The top bunks have no power outlets and you have to use the bottom bunks outlet which can get difficult if someone is already asleep. The only thing going for this place is the location but I would not recommend anyone stay here.
The location and price isn't enough to justify staying here. The pics of common areas on hotels.com and Hostelworld were false advetsing. The water filter desperately needs to be changed (see pic). It barely let's out water and is on red.The place is filthy. I made the mistake of walking in my room in white socks, and they were black after half an hour. I think they just clean the bathrooms and call it a day.I didn't get a towel or blanket upon check in and they were being washed so I was told to wait an hour and kept going back to the front desk every hour, but no one was there. After 4 hours I decided to stay at the front desk until someone came bc there was a line of 5 people needing to check in. I wasted half a day in NYC waiting for a towel.The WORST thing about this place by far is the mattresses. I've never had more painful sleep in my life. After a red eye and full day of walking, their beds were like torture. I so would have rather taken a 5 minute train ride to the HI hostel, which is the same price.

La habitación no tenía calefaccion; estaba en plena refacción el nivel donde me hospede; las áreas comunes que ofrecen no estaban disponibles y para el colmo pretendían cobrarme por dejar mi maleta 5 usd; cobros que no te informan al reservar; mi experiencia fue mala así que no la recomiendo; The room had no air conditioning; the level where I stayed was in full renovation; the common areas they offer were not available, they wanted to charge me 5 usd for leaving my luggage;unreported charges; my experience was bad so I don't recommend it.
