A propriedade é simplesmente linda! A comida no restaurante foi incrível. A experiência do Spa foi excelente. A equipe foi muito atenciosa. No entanto, sinto que os quartos precisam ser atualizados. As camas não são nada confortáveis. Mas no geral adoramos!

This hotel is absolutely wonderful... the historic charm, the spacious room, and the staff was so attentive and amazing - I am in love!
Although I have been here before many times, I never got to make it to the private 5th floor so I booked the best suite... room 500, otherwise known as the Roosevelt Suite. 750 square feet of living space in the southwest corner of the fifth floor, everything was clean, modern, and absolutely beautiful.
My wife took a spa day and loved the manicure and pedicure, the grotto, and the salt cave. We both loved the indoor lap pool as well as the outdoor pool. There are hot tubs at both pools. The grounds in the back are well kept and very charming with winding paths, as well as beautiful landscaping.
We ate at the restaurant on property and was overwhelmed at the staff's utmost attentiveness and generosity. The hotel staff was just as wonderful.
We even took the nightly paranormal tour and the tour guide Jay was brilliant knowing so much history. We had our own run ins both in the room as well as the spa with unexplained events to which we added to the paranormal diary kept at the front desk.
Overall, this is by far my favorite historical hotel that I have stayed at. Very large, very historical, and the experience is second to none.

The property is simply gorgeous! The food at the restaurant was amazing. The Spa experience was outstanding. The staff was very accommodating. However, I feel the rooms need to be updated. Beds are not comfortable at all. But overall we loved it!

Tivemos um dia das mães na Gruta. Apreciamos cada pedacinho da atmosfera relaxante da banheira de hidromassagem, da sauna seca à esfoliação corporal com lama e chuveiro quente a vapor e chuveiro gelado para finalizar. Passamos uma boa parte na piscina com raia no andar térreo e também sentamos em 1 das 2 escadas hots downs também. Estava muito frio ainda para a piscina externa, mas também já usei antes e é como estar de férias em algum lugar extravagante. Saímos descansados e rejuvenescidos. Recomendo um dia gasto e mais se tiver tempo.

We had a Mother's day out at the Grotto. Enjoyed every bit of the relaxing atmosphere from hot tub, to dry sauna to body scrub with mud and steam hot shower and ice cold shower to top it off. We spent a good portion in the lap pool downstairs and also sat in 1 of the 2 hots downs stairs too. It was too cold yet for the outdoor pool, but I have also used it before and it's like being on vacation somewhere extravagant. We left feeling rested and rejuvenated. Highly recommend a day spent and more if you have time.

Hotel antigo muito legal. Muita história. Eu sem saber o que é uma taxa de destino, pesquisei no Google e é pelos “extras” que o hotel oferece. No entanto, não houve extra com este hotel. Água no quarto $ 5,00 extra cada, sem café da manhã gratuito, foi cobrado no quarto para o passeio fantasma que foi pago em dinheiro (nos foi dado um reembolso depois de olhar o recibo). (Olhe seus recibos antes de sair). O quarto estava limpo, mas o assento do vaso sanitário não se encaixava no vaso sanitário e se movia quando você se sentava nele. O porta-toalha de mão estava pendurado na parede. Por US$ 322,45 por noite, eles precisam ser consertados. Estivemos em outros passeios fantasmas em diferentes hotéis e sentimos que esse passeio estava na escala inferior. The hotel is beautiful, the staff although most high schoolers were very nice and polite. My issue comes with the rate and on the final bill we were charged a destination fee (27.65) a destination fee occupancy (15.00), and taxes on these additional fees. Me having no idea what a destination fee is I googled it and it’s for the “extras” the hotel gives you. However, there were no extra with this hotel. Water in the room $5.00 extra each, no free breakfast, was charged to the room for the ghost tour which was paid cash for (we was given a refund after looking at the receipt). (Look at your receipts before leaving). The room was clean but the toilet seat didn’t fit the toilet and moved when you sat on it. The hand towel holder was hanging off the wall. For $322.45 a night these need fixed. We have been to other ghost tours in different hotels and felt this tour was on the bottom scale. Stood in the floor entrance and didn’t visit the “haunted rooms” not much history of the hotel just more lame jokes then anything. The whole town was closed by the time we got there at 3. Nothing to do.

Really cool old hotel.Lot's of history.The lap pool is one of the neatest pools in a hotel I've seen.88 restaurant was good for dinner but breakfast, well after a half hour no food or refills.We had to get on the road and had to leave.The chef did offer to box or order to go with no charge.

¡Tuvimos un montón de diversión! Se están realizando muchas renovaciones, pero han ajustado todo para que el café / bar exista, solo que están en un área diferente. Había condiciones heladas, por lo que mucha gente llamó, pero los que lo lograron hicieron todo lo posible para compensar (se sintieron muy mal por todos). El personal fue muy amable y eficiente. La habitación y las instalaciones estaban limpias y cómodas. El spa era increíble (también en proceso de renovación). Los jardines son hermosos.

We had a lot of fun! They have a lot of new renovations going on but they have adjusted everything so that the cafe/bar exists, they are just in a different area. There were icy conditions so a lot of people called out, but those who made it did their best to compensate (felt so bad for everyone). Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Room and facilities were clean and comfortable. Spa was amazing (also undergoing renovations).The grounds are beautiful.

Lindo hotel histórico com um spa incrível. Estive lá várias vezes e nunca recebi uma massagem ruim. Adoro a área da Gruta e a piscina de raia no interior durante o inverno e a piscina exterior no verão. A comida é fantástica no restaurante e as bebidas perfeitamente feitas no bar separado.

No geral, esta foi uma ótima experiência! O hotel foi definitivamente assombrado. Maioria da equipe foi amigável e muito útil. O ambiente levou você de volta a 1920. A comida estava deliciosa! O spa foi incrível. As camas são muito confortáveis. Gostaria que tivéssemos lembrado nossos trajes de banho para a piscina com raia; é lindo. Os únicos problemas eram as persianas do banheiro, que precisavam ser limpas, a empregada não reabastecia o papel higiênico para a nossa segunda noite e era sempre uma caçada para descobrir onde as refeições seriam servidas. Também as tomadas nos quartos não são facilmente acessíveis para carregar o telefone. O passeio fantasma foi ótimo 👍

En general, fue una gran experiencia! Hotel fue sin duda perseguía. Mayoría del personal era amable y muy servicial. El ambiente que se llevó de nuevo a 1920. ¡La comida era deliciosa! El spa era increíble. Las camas son muy cómodas. Deseamos lo recordamos nuestros trajes de baño para la piscina de entrenamiento; es espectacular. Sólo problemas eran las persianas en el baño sea necesario quitar el polvo, la limpieza no vuelva a llenar el papel higiénico para nuestra segunda noche y fue siempre una búsqueda para encontrar donde se sirven las comidas. También enchufes en las habitaciones no son de fácil acceso para cargar el teléfono. Fantasma viaje fue genial 👍

Beautiful, historic hotel with an amazing spa.Have been there multiple times and have never gotten a bad massage.I love the Grotto area and lap pool inside during the winter and outdoor pool in the summer.The food is fantastic in the restaurant and the drinks perfectly made in the separate bar.

Overall this was a great experience!Hotel was definitely haunted.Majority of staff was friendly and very helpful.The ambiance took you back to 1920's.The food was delicious!The spa was amazing. Beds are very comfortable.Wish we had remembered our swimsuits for the lap pool; it's gorgeous. Only issues were blinds in bathroom needed dusting, the maid didn't refill the toilet paper for our second night and it was always a hunt to find where the meals would be served. Also outlets in the rooms are not easily accessible for charging your phone. Ghost tour was great 👍

My husband took me to the spa part on Mother’s Day and they were a half hour late on my appointment. They handled it very well there and made sure to make it up to us. The staff there and customer service is the best I’ve ever seen in my entire life. The place is absolutely beautiful and the pool is exquisite.

Spend any amount of time here, it’s lovely as a little getaway. Do things you’d do at a hotel, or at a spa. Or combine them. All ways are acceptable.

An ideal place for a relaxing getaway or host a special event! The hotel is a visual masterpiece that is full of history. A majority of the hotel has been tastefully renovated. Nicely preserving the hotel's original character. The staff is warm and inviting, Southern hospitality at its finest. This hotel has a little something for everyone. There is even an option to take a ghost tour during your stay. But most importantly, after a half-day at the spa sipping drinks, you'll sleep like a dream here.

Estuvimos de vacaciones y durante ese tiempo, visitamos a muchas hoteles. The elms era la que costaba más pero no vale. No limpiaban el cuarto, no pudimos tener comida adentro y el baño era muy pequeño.
