So, I write this review with mixed emotions. On one hand this is one of the nicest Hilton's I have stayed at. The beds were the best and the rooms were extremely neat and clean. This is not a bargain type place. Now, on the other hand (which this is something the hotel cannot do anything about) every morning at 3:45am, a train would go through town and blow it's horn so freaking loud, it woke me up every time. The staff was extremely friendly and it makes me sad, becuase if it wasn't for the train, I would stay here every time.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Axis Hotel. The rooms were spacious, the beds were really comfortable, and the rooms were clean. We had a small issue with the hot water, but the staff was attentive and helpful and the issue was fixed immediately. I thought the staff here were wonderful and very friendly. We even learned more about the history of the hotel from them - very cool how they kept some of the old doors! You can see them when you walk around the different floors. Also tried the brunch at the restaurant in the hotel and it was very tasty! I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the colors they chose to decorate with! Room felt luxurious... robe and slippers a nice touch. The soap, shampoo sets were elegant.... loved the barn doors... oh and loved the lighted wardrobe. It's a new hotel, so nothing to complain about!

I had everything I needed. Also the breakfast/brunch was amazing downstairs. I had a chance to use the fitness center which was very clean with up to date equipment. I can say that I had the best sleep I ever had at a hotel at the Axis.

We live in the neighborhood so decided to check it out. Wonderful ambiance with traditional dining, and lobby sofas and chairs for snacks (we ate dinner). Manager is great, came over to check in with us. Waitress was attentive, timely and very friendly! I had the bouillabaisse, a tough gig in the midwest. It was off the charts, fresh and full of a variety of seafood. Great job so far! Keep it up!
