We had an amazing stay at The Kimberly. The staff was extremely attentive and the views from the rooftop were amazing. It has all the luxuries you would need, for a romantic, more intimate place to stay. You're in walking distance from fine dining, shopping, and so much more. I chose this hotel as part of a surprise proposal! We will definitely return for another visit.

Éramos há muito tempo nova-iorquinos, que agora moram em Connecticut. Muitas vezes vamos para a cidade nos fins de semana.Já declaramos duas vezes no Kimberly, e é o lugar perfeito para as famílias ficarem. (Temos dois filhos de 6 e 11 anos)Limpo, centralmente localizado, quartos espaçosos, e a equipe é muito simpática. À medida que a cidade volta da pandemia, as tarifas dos hotéis ficaram muito altas. Os quartos do hotel Kimberly oferecem muito espaço, a um preço razoável, com excelente serviço.Talvez haja lugares mais sofisticados para ficar, mas depois de vários fins de semana nos últimos anos em outros hotéis como o palácio e o novo margaritaville na Times Square, achamos que o Kimberly é o melhor valor para nossa família, com uma localização tranquila e agradável .

We were long time New Yorker’s, who now live in Connecticut. We often go into the city for the weekends.
We have now stated twice at the Kimberly, and it’s the perfect place for families to stay. (We have two kids ages 6 & 11)
Clean, centrally located, spacious rooms, and the staff is very friendly. As the city comes back from the pandemic, hotel rates have gotten very high. The Kimberly hotel rooms offer so much space, at a reasonable rate, with excellent service.
There maybe fancier spots to stay, but after having multiple weekends over the last few years at other hotels like the palace, & the new margaritaville in Times Square, we find the Kimberly to be the best value for our family, with a nice quiet location.

Very nice rooftop bar, all the walls and roof on glass with views at the Chrysler building (from some area). Good and quite atmosphere and nice outdoor area aswell. We had couple very nice cocktails with their great service.
Some of the rooftops look at you like if you are not good enough to enter there, but not here, you feel comfortable and welcomed. 😊

Ótimo hotel que perto de tudo. É limpo e aconchegante. O porteiro é muito simpático. Para a cidade de NY os quartos são espaçosos. Os banheiros são limpos e bem abastecidos. Gostaria que as janelas fossem mais à prova de som, pois fica alto à noite enquanto você tenta dormir. Mas, acho que essa é a vida nas grandes cidades!

O hotel foi ótimo na minha viagem a Nova York - quartos encantadores, charme do velho mundo, muito confortável, equipe maravilhosa. Eu só tenho que tirar uma estrela por 2 coisas. Primeiro, o centro de fitness é apenas uma pequena sala e nem sequer tem um conjunto completo de pesos livres. E segundo, o restaurante Upstairs no Kimberly estava fechado para eventos privados todas as noites em que estivemos lá, bem como no brunch de domingo. Como eles anunciam isso como uma comodidade, seria bom se eles reservassem uma seção do restaurante Upstairs apenas para os hóspedes do hotel, mesmo que haja um evento planejado. Ficamos muito decepcionados com isso. Caso contrário, é um hotel verdadeiramente encantador.

The hotel was great on my NYC trip - lovely rooms, old world charm, very comfortable, wonderful staff. I just have to take a star off for 2 things. First, the fitness center is just a tiny room, and didn't even have a full set of free weights.And second, the Upstairs at the Kimberly restaurant was closed for private events every single evening we were there, as well as on Sunday brunch. Since they advertise this as an amenity, it would be nice if they reserved a section of the Upstairs restaurant just for hotel guests, even if there is a planned event. We were very disappointed in this. Otherwise, it is a truly lovely hotel.

Great hotel that near everything. It is clean and cozy. Door man is very friendly. For NY city the rooms are spacious. Bathrooms are clean and well stocked. Wish windows were more sound proof as it does get loud at night while you trying to sleep. But, I guess that's the life in big cities!

I booked this place for a one night staycation for my girlfriend and I last Friday night for Valentine’s Day. She’s a nurse and barely gets any time off and this one night was soppose to be special. From check in to today it’s been a nightmare. We do go on vacations and stay at nice hotels and this was just terrible costumer service by the check in staff and till today. When we arrived the staff member had made multiple mistakes with our payment including charging the entire stay to both my debit card and credit card. They also then charged by 101 on both cards. Thisis not okay. Today when I called to dispute it with the hotel they acknowledged the mistakes and said it will take 5-7 days to see the return on only my credit card!!! So now I won’t be getting any points that I expected to be charging to my credit card. This is blatant theft. I am not rich and don’t expect a four star hotel to take advantage of people this way. What if I didn’t see the charge? They would of gotten away with charging double on different cards. This is not the kind of costumer service at a four star hotel. The rooms were old and run down. The shower didn’t stay hot for longer than 10 minutes so how could we even take a bath in the tub if we wanted to? No pool. Food on rooftop is just okay. The breakfast staff was excellent but the breakfast food- terrible. This place needs management help desperately but also need to be held accountable formistakes and make it right in order to be a reputable business. Very disappointing. I would look elsewhere.

Se Hospedaram no Kimberly Hotel logo após o Natal. Foi recebido por um porteiro amigável e equipe no check-in. A Suíte Executiva era linda e muito espaçosa. Temos ficado em muitos hotéis de Nova York e esta foi de longe a equipe mais espaçosa e melhor. O restaurante no jardim da cobertura era lindo e oferecia uma atmosfera adorável para tomar uma xícara de café e um coquetel à noite. A localização é ideal com uma curta distância a pé do Central Park, Bryant Park, Times Square, 5th Avenue, Grand Central Station. O hotel é tão adorável, mas verdadeiramente o que fez a nossa estadia tão especial foi a equipe. Sentíamos como se estivéssemos "voltando para casa" a cada dia com os porteiros amigáveis que foram tão atenciosos. Recomendo vivamente este hotel.

Stayed at The Kimberly Hotel right after Christmas.Was greeted by a friendly doorman and staff at check in.The Executive Suite was beautiful and so spacious.We have stayed in many NYC hotels and this was by far the roomiest and best staff.The rooftop garden restaurant was beautiful and offered a lovely atmosphere to have a cup of coffee and cocktail in the evening. The location is ideal with easy walking distance to Central Park, Bryant Park, Times Square, 5th Avenue, Grand Central Station.The hotel is so lovely but truly what made our stay so special was the staff.We felt like we were "coming home" each day with the friendly doormen who were so attentive. Highly recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here 4 times now and it’s our go-to favorite boutique hotel in NYC! Service by the bellman and all of the guys who greet you outside is top notch…they are so warm and inviting! Definitely the best service. Front desk staff is mediocre and not always very warm and friendly. Kind of cold and stiff compared to the doorman/bellhop etc. The housekeeping department is quick, friendly, helpful and so very efficient! This hotel is beautiful, cozy, comfortable and has wonderful amenities as well as the largest rooms with kitchenettes and balconies we have found in the city. The location can’t be beat!
